LMT, Sole Proprietor, LMT License # MA 60294790
Since the spring of 2012, Anna has been a licensed massage therapist in Washington State. For the remainder of that year, she worked with a chiropractor in Battle Ground, WA, where she participated in marketing events and provided chair massages. In January 2013, Anna launched her own practice at Healing Works, finding fulfillment in being self-employed while offering massages. She graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, in 2012, which equipped her with a comprehensive education on massage techniques and human anatomy. Her studies included courses on Swedish massage, upper and lower body assessment and treatment, therapeutic relations, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy.
Anna developed a strong interest in Anatomy and Physiology as well as Kinesiology and has recently tutored A&P to pre-nursing students at a local community college.
In the past, Anna dedicated her time by volunteering twice a week at the Peacehealth Southwest's Cancer/Infusion Center, where she provided one-hour massages as well as hand and foot massages to patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy. She found this experience to be very fulfilling. Committed to enhancing her skills, Anna pursues ongoing education in massage therapy throughout Washington State. She has enrolled in courses focused on techniques for massaging clients receiving chemotherapy and has also studied methods for supporting clients during pregnancy and childbirth. Recently, she completed a course on integrating cupping and Gua Sha tools into her massage practice, exploring their various benefits.
Presently, Anna is delving into the principles of Cranial Sacral Therapy. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with horses, journaling, reading captivating books, exploring nature on walks, attending Zumba classes, and connecting with her family.
